Common Name: Ledebouriella Ledebouriella (fang feng) means guard against wind. Wind is considered external when it carries germs or internal when it refers to the nervous system (which moves through the body like wind.) Ledebouriella is recommended for cold and flu headaches, chills, and body aches orpainful obstructionof qi circulation--joint aches that feel worse during cold humid weather. It also treats wind originating from internal imbalances--trembling hands and feet, lockjaw, and migraines. Clinical research on Ledebouriella has shown that it, like many Chinese herbs, has secondary antimicrobial effects. The herb specifically inhibits some influenza viruses and in vitro shigella and staphylococcus germs. Net weight: 1 lb.
